The problem of death is a key topic in Heidegger's philosophy. All his philosophical pursuits is related to the death problem which is analysed in such three dimension as time, Being and wothingness. To Heidegger time is a horizon from which Being can be seen, that is to say being would not have to do with us until it comes into time. But the structure of time is concealed in death. Death is a possibility that one has to take on in his all life. This possibility would become reality only in the future and it as an end of life is a way of elapse, in another word, death is a "past" . So Being-to-death means a elapse from future to past.Death not only shows time but also opens Being. To Heidegger the poverty of people who lives in the modern society is that he or she only focuses on being (entities) instead of Being, they try their best to develop science and technology to explore the world of entities, compared the great success in science and technology he misunderstand Being and regard it as being, faild to understand the essence of technology and who is human being. In this situation man falling in the world of being and submit himself to the rule of the "they". But Dasein can recall himself from such falling by way of Being-to-deathu dread and conscience. Dasein must take responsible for what it had done. Only by this way one could come back to himself from falling.Heidegger thought that "cover" and "uncover" is two sides of Being while it is moving. Everything is themselves while Being is being uncovered and Being is itself while itis being covered. Being in covering is nothingness. It shows that Being is founded in nothingness. Where is no nothingness, there is no Being. But nothingness can only be found by feeling of dread and death. It's said that nothingess is a background for Being to show itself. In one word world is a collection of relations and death is a key element to maintain this relations.
