Inguiry Into The Natural Thought Of The Picture And Quantity Changes

This thesis takes the concept of the Picture and Quangtity Changes (PQC), the pattern of PQC's thinking and the relative categories as the study objects. On the one hand, the author probes deeply into the core of the theory of PQC to find its internal rationality. On the other hand, he draws a comparison between the theory and the law of Nature compehensively to examine nature. He thereby reveals the PQC's vitality as scientific thoughts.From the three aspeets--the relationship beween the PQC and the antientChinese science and technology, the PQC's pattern of thinking, and its rational thought, the thesis gradually presents the PQC's rationality and manages to establish a naw branch of study which is differentiated from the usual field of the Changes researchers. The author neither focuses on the divination nor discusses the universal truth; neither makes a thorough study of the history of the Changes nor tries to draw a farfetched conclusion, instead, his emphasis is to strive to clarify the PQC's distinctive way of systematic thinking in line with nature and its system of location. Integrating the Picture and Quantity, Meaning and Rules into one, the author attempts to establish a new mould for the study of nature, and to the scientific thought of the antient study of Changes which conforms with nature.
