Aesthetic Observation In Chinese Agriculture

Viewing agriculture as a big system, this paper mainly discusses the association between Chinese agriculture and aesthetics during the development of Chinese agriculture. The paper explores the aesthetic factors in agriculture on the basis of several factors closely related to agricultural development, such as stoneware, agricultural implements, agricultural technology, agricultural landscape and agricultural thoughts.The paper elaborates the discussion by using the general historical methods, such as analogy, synthesis, induction, deduction, and illustration as main analytical methods, and the three-theory (cybernetics, information and systematic theories) as the supplementary ones.[1] The paper observes the agricultural aesthetics through the interrelationship between the germination of aesthetic sense and that of primitive agriculture. Primitive agriculture in China directly originated from the collecting, fishing, hunting and such activities in the late Paleolithic Age, when aesthetic factors were gradually fostered during the process of hunting, making and using tools, and practicing languages, and humanity's aesthetic sense cultivated accordingly.[2] In the process of agricultural production, farming implements are the symbol of agricultural productivity. From the primitive chopping and smashing tools to the modern agricultural implements, aesthetic consciousness has been developing along with, which, in reverse, promoted the advancement of agricultural implements. It is of important realistic significance to sustainable agricultural development that we introduce technological aesthetics into agriculture, further explore the aesthetical factors, and dig the hi-tech aesthetics in agriculture.[3] Agricultural landscape is part of natural beauties. The paper observes the aesthetic contents in agriculture from the whole new macro and micro perspectives, and especially reviews the aesthetic factors in sightseeing and leisure agriculture on the basis of "benefit".[4] The exploration of form aesthetics in Chinese agricultural thoughts is helpful to conduct agricultural production. Agriculture, as a big system, becomes more rhythmic and efficient with the continuous improvement of is factors and the harmony between various factors. Aesthetic thoughtattaches itself to the continuous perfection of various aesthetic factors, accelerates this kind perfection, and in the end helps agriculture achieve optimum development.
