Three sisters from a curate's family in Haworth West Yorkshire surprised the whole world in 1847. Jane Eyre, Agnes Grey, and Wuthering Heights were published at the same time under the pseudonyms of Currer Bell, Acton Bell, and Ellis Bell. Three Bells' novels attracted the notice of the public by their dramatic incidents, powerful expressions of the passion and the unique ideas about the value of women. The study as to the works and the authors had begun in time after the appearance of the three novels. In the past 100 years, with the rising of the feminism movement and the introduction of new methods and viewpoints, the rereading of the classics casts new ideas on Bronte sisters' novels. The main shortcoming of the previous study is that it is rarely treated the three sisters creation as a whole. The inter relationship and the inter differences are hardly noticed. If we consider literature as the reflection of life, then why the three sisters who grown up in almost the same surroundings could write out different woks? The works of the Bronte sisters had its own strong characters: Charlotte's Byronic neroes; Annie's description of the true life; and Emily's love that can surpass the line of life and death. These works came from the sisters who grown up in the same family, the different understanding of the similar life led to the different styles. The main three reasons for the differences are the following: the differences in personality and psychology, the differentlife experiences, and the affection of different literary ideas. The paper will adopt the comparative methods, on the basis of the text, with the help of the ideas from feminism and Marxism critical theories, combined with the morals and decency history of the contemporary Europe, and the histories of social change, philosophy and literary thoughts, to discuss about the differences and the similarities in Bronte sisters' creation, and try to find out the major reasons for them. I hope the paper will disclose further about the striking characters of Bronte sisters' works and promote the study of Bronte sisters.
