The Compilation of Notes on Classical Poetry,The Clump Words of TiaoBrook Fishermam Recluse and Poet Jade Bits are three collections of notes on classical poetry edited by Song Dynasty editors.They are the three stage accomplishments on the development history of notes on classical poetry in Song Dynasty.There has an important significance for the research on notes on classical poetry at present and a great benefit for the research on the history of literary criticism by comparing the three collections. There are four focal points on the paper which are the textual research on the editor, final manuscript and edition, stylistic rules and layout, poetry study meaning, document study value. So this paper spreads out exposition from four aspects. On the first part, it examined the editors' life and family history, the collections' final manuscript and edition. It is the basis of the comparative study. It studied the stylistic rules and layout of the collections on the second part. On the part of 3rd, the selective criterion was compared. The development of notes on classical poetry and the trend of thought in Song Dynasty were revealed. In a word it revealed the collections' poetry study meaning. On the final part, it studied their document study value. In brief, this paper attempts to stand the document and to comb the three collections, and hopes to promote the further study for the collections of notes on classical poetry.
