The interpersonal relations are based on the association among people. The quality of relationship can improve adolescents' social skill, self-consciousness, achievement and mental health. So there is much theoretical and practical significance on this study. All of the study before focused on the adolescents' behavior and mental feature, but this study stand in the attributional retraining. The results are as follows:Firstly, the development of locus of control waved with grade. Parents' jobs give students' locus of control much influence. Middle school students inclined to internal control whose father has a stable job. There is no gender difference in locus of control.Secondly, middle school students' self-esteem getting steady up with grade, but have no gender difference. If fathers' cultural level is higher, the students' self-esteem gets upper. The students' self-esteem score whose parents' have stable job are higher than those whose parents are out of work.Thirdly, different from the study before, middle school students' interpersonal relationship getting steady down, especially in senior three. The girls' relationgship is much better than boys.Fourthly, there is significant correlation in locus of control, self-esteem and relationship. That is to say, students' that incline to internal control will have higher self-esteem and better relationship.Fifthly, no matter boys and girls, locus of control and self-esteem both have influence in relationship. The students' self-esteem influenced by anticipation of roles. The locus of control has the main influence on the relationship.Sixthly, no matter junior students and senior students, locus of control and self-esteem both have influence in relationship. According to Robert Kegan' s theory, middle school students are in the crucial time which from imperical balance to interpersonal ego. In this period, adolescents come from the selfish to interpersonal coordination.
