The interpersonal relationship among college students is related to their mental health and personal development.Harmonious interpersonal relationship will make people feel relaxed and happy. On the contrary, bad interpersonal relationships can make people nervous, anxious or even depressed. But nowadays, college students'interpersonal status is not optimistic. Therefore,it is very important to explore the influencing factors and mechanism of college students' interpersonal relationship. The college students, with the "post-90s" as the main stream, live in the age of rich materials and open mind. They pursue personality, freedom, and pay more attention to their feelings and therefore have a higher narcissistic tendency. At the same time, their self-esteem is also getting higher, because they are confident enough to give themselves a positive judgement. However, their psychological development is still in the semi-mature and half immature stage, and they live in the simple campus of interpersonal environment,so they are relatively lack of adult intellectual and self-control ability. My research is based on the reality of self-control narcissism,self-esteem and trait self-control and interpersonal relationship, and aims to do research on the mechanism of the influence of narcissistic personality,self-esteem and trait self-control on interpersonal relationship. The purpose of the study is:(1)to understand college students' narcissistic personality,self-esteem,trait self control and interpersonal distress.(2)to explore the correlation among narcissistic personality,self-esteem and trait self control among college students.(3)to explore the mediating effect of self-esteem and trait self control on narcissistic personality and interpersonal distress.Research methods:In this study,481 college students in several colleges and universities in Xi'an were selected as subjects. The questionnaire was used to measure the narcissistic personality, self respect, self control and interpersonal relationship, applying the narcissistic personality scale, the self-esteem scale, the college student self control scale and the interpersonal relationship comprehensive diagnosis scale. The data are collected and processed by SPSS and its plug-in PROCESS,and the data are analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, independent sample T test, single factor analysis of variance, and the test of mediator effect.Research results and conclusions:(1)college students' dominant narcissism score is higher than implicit narcissism;self-esteem is at a moderate level;trait self control is average high. The average score of the scale was poor, and the self control ability was poor.(2)college students' dominant narcissism is positively correlated with self-esteem,negatively correlated with trait self control, and interpersonal difficulties. The perturbed correlation is not significant.Implicit narcissism is negatively correlated with self-esteem,negatively correlated with trait self control, and negatively related to interpersonal distress.Self esteem is positively correlated with trait self control and negatively related to interpersonal distress.Trait self control is negatively correlated with interpersonal distress.(3)college students' self-esteem and trait self control play a chain mediating role between implicit narcissism and interpersonal relationship perplexity.(4)college students' self-esteem is a mediator between implicit narcissism and interpersonal distress.(5)college students' trait self control plays a mediating role between recessive narcissism and interpersonal relationship perplexity. The conclusions are as follows:(1)narcissism of college students is in the normal and adaptive range.(2)the self-esteem level of college students is at a moderate level, and their self control ability is relatively low, which is generally in a state of mild interpersonal distress.(3)the implicit narcissism of college students can directly predict the interpersonal relationship, and can also affect the interpersonal relationship through the intermediary role of self-respect or trait self control and the chain mediator of self-esteem and trait self control.
