| Lin shu , famous for translating Western novels , is one of characteristic representatives in modern China. Due to Lin shu' s important status in modren China, some predecessors in acdamic field have given some productive researches to him . But it is just confined to literature field , his political and cultural concepts are hardly involved or uncomprehensively expounded . In order to break the confinement, this dissertation intends to put Lin shu' concepts in order at the foudation of current researching fruits, meanwhile give a comprehensive analysis to his intellectual quality, political concepts , cultural concepts and the concepts concerned about how to enpower our country and people , from which some enlightening spiritual wealth can be concluded.
