As an important member of the late New Moon poetry society , Lin Hui-yin was regarded as a poetess full of personality and gradually reached the summit in 1930' s. Because her major is architecture, her poetry book wasn' t published , and she always wrote something that isn' t fit for the revolution current and era atmosphere, her works haven' t been paid enough attention to for a very long time. Based on Lin Hui-yin' s verse text, the thesis emphasizes its aesthetic content, artistic feature, and furthermore the particular value and importance of reference of Lin Hui-yin and her poems.The thesis is divided into three parts.The first chapter analyses systematically the aesthetic content of Lin Hui-yin' s poems which mainly include the following parts: the singing of love , the experiencing of life, the eulogizing of the nature, the care for the common. Moreover, the thesis explores the deep-level creative psychology from the view of point of the cultural and psychological criticism, especially makes a breakthrough in talking about life consciousness and philosophical tendency in her poems.The second chapter emphasizes the artistic feature of Lin Hui-yin' s poems in the way of influence research and comparative research. The author believes that inspiration and emotion aesthetic and the digesting between Chinese poetry and western poetry are the two most significant artistic features. Her poems excel in expressing exquisite inspiration, especially graceful emotion and feelings. Succeeding to rooted tradition of Chinese poetry and following the change of world poetry trend, her poems integrate Chinese traditional poetry into western modern poetry, embody dual-color of the classicism and modernism , and thus take on unique artistic feature and attain great artistic achievements.The third chapter reviews Lin Hui-yin and her poems as a whole in the historical and cultural field from the viewpoint of Female and Culture studies .The thesis shows that her poems display an outstanding poetess with plentiful spiritual qualities and multi-ply cultural makings. From Lin Hui-yin, we see the consummate combination of the pursuit of life value and poetry aesthetics. Furthermore, the integration of life experience with philosophical wisdom in Lin Hui-yin' s poetry provides valuable lessons for today' s women who start from the reality but are stranded by it.
