Strictly speaking, literary translation is the art of language and the art of reproduction and re-creation. As the art of language reproduction, literary translation uses the target language to reproduce the aesthetic components of the original works, so it has the process of aesthetic experience and aesthetic reproduction. This study explores firstly the innate character of literary translation, then, it presents an analytic models of the aesthetic reproduction in literary translation, that is, the three aspects of aesthetic reproduction: the aspect of language-structure, the aspect of imagery system and the aspect of artistic style. In the aspect of language-structure, the study firstly analyzes the features of literary language, then it points out the beautiful in the language-structure of literary works and the approaches to reproduce it. In the aspect of imagery system, the study discusses the image and the ideorealm in its general sense respectively, and put forward the means of actualization. In the aspect of artistic style, the study analyzes the different explanations of the style in translation and concludes the style in general sense, it points out the two methods of reproducing the style in translation, namely, the literary point of view and the linguistic point of view. The study makes a new exploration in translation aesthetic through theoretical analysis and empirical comparison of data obtained from translated versions by others, it demonstrates how the three aspects works in literary aesthetic and how they function in literary translation. The study differs from the binary analysis of form and content in literary translation, it avoids the mechanical isolation of form and content, but it penetrates the dialectics of form and content, hence it is the unity of form and content. The theoretic basis of the study is based on the level-model in literary translation history and the western and eastern art all over the world, especially the theory proposed by Tong Qingbin, who have made the literature research for years, his conception of three aspects in literary textis very helpful and usefully for the aesthetic reproduction in literary translation, another one is Chen Xiyin, who presents his translation notion as three artistic approximations.The study is argued by citing examples in combination with the linguistics, literature, aesthetics, cognitive psychology, translation theories and reading experience.
