The study consists of two parts. In the first part, the authordesigned the questionnaire--Subjective Well Being Questionnaireof High School Students from Coastal Areas, which is based on some concerned researches and survey with high school students from coastal areas. Meanwhile the author evaluated the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, which includes eight factors, such as, family, friendship, health, academic achievement, self, school, society and living condition. The result indicated that this questionnaire has high reliability and validity. In the second part, the self-designed scale and EPQ were applied to examine the subjective well being of high school students from coastal areas. And the author used some statistical methods to discuss the relations among subject well being, neuroticism and extraverft personality. The result revealed that students' neuroticism and extravert personality had significant correlation with subject well being; neuroticism had positive correlation with negative emotion; extravert personality were positively correlated with positive emotion, meanwhile it greatly forecasted subjective well being. And the same results can be got from different ages.
