A Textual Research On Jiao's Ideology On I-Ching Learning

In the history of I-Ching learning , JIAO Yanshou's divination skill by I-Ching has been held in esteem all the time , and his writing was named JIAO's Yi-lin (The Essence of I-Ching), but his distinctive ideology on I-Ching learning and theory of literature and art has been frequently ignored or only expounded to a shallow extent. Having intensively studied the poems and prose written by J IAOYanshou , the author put JIAO's ideology on I-Ching learning into order on the basis of different forms of his writings . The paper is made of two aspects : one is pointing out JIAO's heritage from and elaboration on philosophical connotation of I-Ching and other representative writings for example Chun-qiu from his poems . The other is clarifying JIAO's carrying forward on Poesy according to the history, of Han Dynasty as well as his poems . Putting forward JIAO's contribution to reform on divination techniques and his contributions to perfecting divination words in accordance with actual necessities . All the aspects indicate that JIAO Yanshou was a great master of I-Ching learning who stressed not only on its philosophical connotation but also on its literature features , not only its theory ,but also his practical application?poems.
