A Study On The Jiao-di Opera

Jiao-Di opera is an early opera in the Han dynasty. Jiao-Di opera has a longhistory.With the development of various dynasties, Jiao-Di opera integrated into theChinese Drama and became an important part of it.Firstly, analyzing the concept of the Jiao-Di opera from ancient literature.Studying on the difference between the Jiao-Di opera, Baixi and Jue-di.Secondly, studying on the origin and development of Jiao-Di opera. Thedevelopment of Jiao-Di opera roughly has two tracks. Jiao-Di opera becamediversified and comprehensive art performances or developed into a professionalsports entertainment. During the development of the two tracks, Jiao-Di opera alsohas a form of dramatic performance.Thirdly, this chapter emphasizes the relation of Gewu Drama, Canjun Drama,Zaju of Song Dynasty and Yuanban Drama of Yuan Dynasty. To study how Jiao-Diopera integrated into Chinese Drama and became an important part of it in its wholedevelopment process of drama history. we can see it give an important effect on theform of Chinese Drama.
