A Study On The Historical And Literary Value Of "Jiao's Yilin"

As a collection of four-word poems that preserves the history and culture of the ancient to Western Han dynasties,"Jiao's Yilin"(it is simply called "Yi Lin")has a wide range of content sources,diverse artistic techniques,and rich and profound emotional connotations.It is a well-deserved cultural treasure with epic value.This article takes Yilin as the center and combines the content of poetry to explore the nature,time and background of the book,historical value and literary value.The article is divided into four parts:The first part is to determine the nature of Yilin.This paper mainly introduces the understanding of the nature and attribute of the book in the academic circles at present.Relying on the existing literature,exploring the source of interpretation.The nature of the book is redefined from the following aspects: the inheritance of Qi poetry school,the inheritance of hermits and the easy attribution of Guizang.It is clear that the book is a collection of four character poems which records the history and culture from ancient times to the Western Han Dynasty and has epic meaning.The second part is about the author and the time of writing.Through the analysis and induction of the existing literature,it is clear that the book was written by Jiao Gan and was written in the period of emperor Cheng of Han Dynasty.By discussing the background and environment of Yilin in detail,we can provide the theoretical support for further exploring the value of Yilin in literature and history.The third part is the analysis of the historical value of Yilin.Referring to historical records and other historical books,this paper comments on the historical events involved in the book.It focuses on the rich historical data ofthe war,the supplement to the ancient people,and the improvement of the history of Zhou and Lu.We should try our best to explore the value of Yilin,a rich historical mine,and make some supplements for the existing historical research.This part also deals with some contents reflecting the totem culture in Yilin.The fourth part is the analysis of literature value of Yilin.Yilin,written by Jiao Gong,is a grand and comprehensive collection of poems comparable to the four character poems in the book of songs.The author of this chapter will focus on the analysis of the contents of Yilin,a further application of the writing style of "four character poems" in Yilin.Through in-depth analysis of the reality,lyricism and philosophy contained in his poems.
