This paper based on the clan of Huqiu Huang in overseas Chinese hometown Bandong. The basic theory of historiography, sociology and anthropology is the guiding methodology. Furthermore, detailed study method, such as case study is applied.Author makes an investigation into the course of changes and developments, organizations, relationship network, activities and special features, social functions and so on . Points out that the existence and development of the clan of Huqiu Huang have had not only the qualitative specifications of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, but also the special social, political ,economic and cultural environments of different regions on which they depend for their survival and development. Accordingly, the author looks forward to the prosect for clan of overseas Chinese hometown in the 21st century .
