New Historical Narration Of Chinese Contemporary Literary Since The 1980's

Since the 1980's, a number of novels, which concentrated on the stories of the declining families, have emerged in Chinese literary world. In contrast to traditional historical works, the afore-mentioned novels are not focused on restoring the original shape of past. The way of these novels' narrating the historical stories likes dialogue between old-days and now-days, which gives us impressions of the current state, while recalling and tracing the past. This thesis highlights the new type of writing, which is named as "New Historical Novels" or "New Historism Novels" by the academic scholars. In the thesis, the novels with real historical form but no historical facts will be named as "New Historical Narration".Based on Chinese culture transform, the literature phenomenon of the "New Historical Narration" will be observed, and the new narrative tactics, which get away from the traditional way of writing and reconstructing "histories" , will be revolved.
