| Aesthetic means appreciation of the reality for their close relationship, so the significance of literature to human is not only offering an aesthetic freedom but also providing a significant realistic meaning by influencing human life through aesthetic. Literature as the aesthetic ideology may help us to understand the essence of realistic life, and promote people to grasp the reality through aesthetic spirit. Since the particular cultural background and mode of literature production, contemporary aesthetic ideology (literature) brings about a new aesthetic result in China------"Yuyun" characterized as a sublime tragic spirit that is the spiritual treasure of modern Chinese people. Nowadays, the abuse of instrumental rationalism and pragmatism causes a decline of the humanistic spirit and the significance of value. Obsessed by the pursuing of materials, people lost their judgment of the life's meaning, however contemporary aesthetic ideology (literature) reflects the truth of people's life in the artistic realness, and proves the ties between the history (the future) and the reality by its surpassing power. Contemporary people understand the reality of life through the aesthetic ideology (literature), establish their conscious and tragic outlook on life, face sufferings of reality directly, grasp the relationship of realistic life consciously encouraged by the sublime spirit, and experience the aesthetic life combined by tragedy and beauty in the process of overcoming hardships in the reality. All these are the significance of contemporary Chinese literature.
