Hundred Years' Translation Movement began to arise in Abbasid Dynasty of Arab in the Middle Ages. This movement arised, with the flexible social circumstances and the strong backbone of culture, meeting the objective needs of the society and history in Arab. Under the support from the Caliphs, a large number of works from ancient India, ancient Persia as well as ancient Greece etc. were systematically and organically translated into Arabic in the movement. Thus, classical culture and various knowledge got conserved and spread. Meanwhile, Hundred Years' Translation Movement also helped to accumulate knowledge which would lead to the creation of new culture. All these played a significant role in the finalization of the Arabic-Islamic civilization and the progress of the Renaissance.
