The thesis reflexes the influence and creativeness of the Mongolian writer Sirendonji by comparing his Tibetan novel 《Ancestors》 with the Colombian well-known writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s 《One Hundred Years of Solitude》The thesis consists of three parts:introduction, main part and conclusion. The introduction explains the reason of selecting, survey of research, research methods and the material source.There are two chapters in the main parts. In chapter one, it compares the images, symbols, exaggeration, magic of dreams and the silliness of nations in 《Ancestors》 and 《One Hundred Years of Solitude》. In chapter two, it has a talk about colors, national customs, public consciousness, women’s status and primitive thoughts by expounding the uniqueness of Sirendonji’s novel.Although 《Ancestors》 was influenced by Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s writing skills of magical realism, it shows his own strong native spirit and bright national features.
