Literature Intervention theory of Sartre is the core notion among his limited literary works, which is widely concerned by the theorists. The essay here attempts to analyse and organise the theory systematically.Starting from philosophic and aesthetic basis of the theory, the essay offers a profound and overall analysis of the original of the theory. It views in the essay Literature Intervention theory of Sartre exists in all his phenomenonism and existism. And then the essay illustrates the presentation and development of the theory, showing that the theory has subjected to a significant change: from the narrow sensed Political intervention developed to a without obvious political content, potential and broad sensed Intervention. This change performs a critical theoretical significance in the recognition of literary function. Furthermore, the essay takes the examples of Sartre' criticism of concrete writers and their works to prove the practical importance of his theory. And the essay illustrates his methods in the spiritual analysis of existism. In the last part, the author of the essay evokes thinking from some problems of Sartre theory and exchange views on some viewpoints in the academic fields.
