The Drama Of Situation As Carrier Of The Existentialism

Is Sartre a philosopher or a dramatist? If we consider him a dramatist, can we regard his works as an illustration or a concretion of his philosophy? If we consider him a philosopher, then how can he translate his theory into the language of drama? In this article, I will analysis the corporation and the contribution of the union of Sartre's drama and his philosopher by studying his drama of situation.It is not a coincident for Sartre to use drama as a tool to explain and illustrate his philosophy. The real reason for his choice lies not only in the rules of drama and his philosophy but also in his experience in his childhood and during the World War Two. The drama of situation has been proved to be an effective way of translating Sartre's theory, I will study the influence and concretion of his philosophy in his drama works by the analysis of his theory in his drama No Exit and The Flies.In the last part of this essay, I will analysis Sartre's limitation on drama: The conservative trend in the art form; The breaking up of art and the task of education; The negative part of the interference of his philosophy in his drama; The loss of inside freedom during his trip in literary world.
