Although police is a focusing-stress occupation, there are few formal studies about the police's psychological stress, not to mention professional measure tools for the police's psychological stress. This study tries to work out a set of scientific and normative measurement tools for the police's psychological stress. On the basis of this, the degree of stress was measured and compared. This research is to provide a study of the police's psychological stress by making questionnaire. The exploratory factor shows that the structure of the police's psychological stress includes eight factors, which are, organizational stress, personal stress, task stress, frustrate stress, temporal stress, social stress , relational stress and economical stress. By compared, the result shows that the police's psychological stress differs significantly in two dimensions, which are age and police's types.The structure validity of the scale is good as well as its reliability. We define five degrees of psychological stress in Suzhou. So it can be used as a measurement tool .With the tool, we can know about the police's mental stress on base of the test scores and tell them instructive suggestions in order to help them be more healthy.
