ZhengQidou And The Expounding Of YangMing Thinking System In Korea

After the study of YangMing spread eastward to Korea. It went on developingunder the influence of early scholars in Korea. Though the study of YangMingnever developed completely in Korea, as a result of dominating and emptystruggle of ZhuZi study and the overflowing of pseudosclence, false men andhypocrisy with the principle of ChengZhu as protection made it a seal of vanityand selfishness, then lost its influence all over the country. At that time because ofat and out of home and ZhuZi scholar's weakness and escaping reality in solvingsocial problems, the philosophy principles of YangMing study in facing reality andsolving social difficulties were accepted. ZhengQidou summarized and inheritedthe thoughts of early scholars, such as NanYangjing, ZhangWei, etc, on the otherhand he stroke back the attack of Korean YangMing study against KoreanChengZhu scholars and improved the thinking system of Korean YangMing study.After ZhengQidou stated the intuitive knowledge of YangMing study in Jianghuathe YangMing study went on continuously just like glowworm glittering. Thefoundation of the sect of Korean YangMing study relied on ZhengQidoucompletely. He inherited the Yao-Sun -Yu -Kong -Meng Tao based on the classicsof the Confucian school. And emphasized that his own thinking was inherited fromthe theory systems of ZhouLianxi, ChengMingdao and WangYangming. Hedeveloped WangYangming's "Mind i.e. logic" to a higher standard, that is "somematters beyond the mind in the world". And "the noumenon of mind is nature,which is logic as a matter of fact". He advocated the view that logic was spiritwhich criticized the bigoted nature of ZhuZi study and pointed out the variety oflearning from the philosophy point of view, "Mind i.e. logic" and "the unity of sense and performance" and "Extending to intuitive knowledge" , ZhengQidou gave lectures in Jianghua where he spread YangMing study in the form of school study and also established XiaGu study. Which made a further development of YangMing study. YangMing study and XiaGu study had a positive effect on practice study and the Korean's civilized thought in modern times. Some philosophical views of practice study including durability and seeking truth from fact can find basis in the "unity of sense and performance" of YangMing study. The civilized thinkers in later stage who initiated and pursued new ideas were all on the basis of YangMing study.
