Habermas' Facing-Life-World Communication Theory

As one of the best influential philosophers in 20th century, Jurgen Habermas still inherits the critical tradition of Frankfurt School, puts forward a constructive project for western society getting into crisis by means of normative analysis of communication action, and thus constructs his huge theory of communicative action. However, I, away from the theory's social critical tradition, emphasize that Habermas' communication theory is brought forward in order to solve all kinds of communication problems in the realistic life world. At first, I discuss how Habermas' communication theory reverts into the life world and what profound meaning the life world contains as an empirical ground of communication activities. The theory of communication, based on association with the linguistics, is constructed after achieving transformation from the paradigm of labor into the paradigm of communication.I primarily demonstrate in this paper how Habermas, by way of analysis of Formal Pragmatics on communicative activities, opens out Validity Claim which is contained in speech communication activities. He reconstructs communicative rationality as a normative force, and sets communication activities in ideal speech situation. In doing so he tries to obtain eventual normative solution for realistic problems of communication.I think Habermas' communication theory don't equal with his huge philosophic system as a critical social theory, which is not illustrated in this paper. I only demonstrate how Habermas reverts into life world and puts forward his theory of communication while confronting realistic problem of communication among human beings. My doing so is from illustration on Heidegger's Existence philosophy and gets illumination from Heidegger's analysis of Being while facing the life world. I make simple comparison between Habermas' communication theory and Heidegger's Existence philosophy at the end of the paper.
