Following the further development of reform and opening to the outside world and the established market economy, a series of profound social transformations have been happening. All of these impose unprecedented mental pressure on undergraduates, and then put forward a higher requirement on the undergraduates' mental health education. In recent years, the undergraduates' mental health arouses more and more concerns from the man of insight in the educational circle. On the campus, such phenomena are increasing continuously as leaving university without permission, lunacy and accidental death, which have a severe effect on the security and stability of university and even on normal study, life and working order. Thus, it is a key task of overall-promoting university quality education to research and grasp the status quo of the undergraduates' mental problems, explore their causes, help undergraduates solve common mental problems in their mental developing process and daily life according to the undergraduate group mental characters and optimize their mental quality so that they can develop comprehensively, fully, harmoniously and forwardly.This thesis aims that through analyzing and grasping the status quo and causes of undergraduates' mental health problem, it provides a window for college teaching staff to see the development level and traits of undergraduates' mental health, explores the countermeasures for strengthening the undergraduates' mental health education further so as to enhance its pertinence and actual effect and promotes the undergraduates' mental health development. This thesis consists of four sections.Section one presents the meaning of undergraduates' mental health and its education. The author illustrates the meanings of undergraduate mental problem,mental health and mental health education respectively and analyzes the standard of undergraduate mental health further.Section two shows the common undergraduates' mental health problems and their representations. It analyzes their main types, status quo and related traits from five problems of environmental emergent response, self-malajustment, interpersonal relations, love and sexual mentality and other hurt maladjustments.Section three studies the factors influencing undergraduates' mental health. There are a variety of factors influencing undergraduates' mental health. These factors are mutual affected. From two aspects of external environmental factor and individual factor, the causes influencing undergraduates' mental health are analyzed.Section four studies the development of undergraduates' mental health education. Based on the analysis of undergraduates' mental health education, its representation and the factors of effect, the author illustrates the significance of enhancing the undergraduates' mental health education. Furthermore, the author proposes the main task and target of undergraduates' mental health education. Then he explores and studies the corresponding concrete pass and countermeasures.
