It is extremely prominent that mental health problems ofundergraduate in China in recent years. The malignant incidents happenoccasionally, which have already become the key problems that the wholesociety has paid close attention to. Educational offices of all parts andinstitutions of higher education have done a large amount of work instrengthening the work of undergraduate's mental health education. Theachievements of undergraduate's mental health research show a tendencyto rise year by year. However, as a whole, the research can't meet theneeds of advancing quality education in an all-round way. It shows as theresearch mainly from mental disorder aspect, a little from psychologydeveloping aspect. It pays attention to mental health problems ofgenerality, and neglects psychological differences of male and femaleundergraduate.This thesis uses the case interview to carry on qualitative analysis toundergraduate's mental heath problems. First of all, describe the basictheory of mental health. Secondly, study undergraduate's mental troublefrom gender perspective as well as from generality, probe into the culturalimpact on mental health of male and female undergraduate emphaticallyand reveal that the differences of mental trouble of male and femaleundergraduates exist, which are caused by the sex role expectation andtraditional culture. Finally put forward some countermeasures for solvingthese problems from gender perspective.
