The Study On The Relation Between College Students' Social Anxiety And Self Consistency And Congruence

College life is essential to their development. Young students will meet with many psychological problems in college. The important one of which is social anxiety. Many factors affect social anxiety, One of them is self consistency and congruence which has close relationship with social anxiety.In this research, I take 318 students of a collage as samples, with the help of IAS(Interaction Anxiousness Scale), SCCS(Self Consistency and Congruence Scale) and SPSS, I analyse the main features of them and their relationship.The research results show:Firstly, there are different social anxiety in college students ,which is more serious than ever before. Secondly, today's college students show good self consistency and congruence. Compared with former students, the conditions are getting worse. Thirdly, there is close relationship between social anxiety and self consistency and congruence. The self consistency and congruence is the main factor to influence social anxiety. Finally, whether they act as students' leader and how they feel their family relationship are also important elements. But students' sex major origin and whether he or her is only one child have no influency on their social anxiety and self consistency and congruence.
