Self-harmony is essential to life development,it is the foundation of building healthy personality and it can serve as one of the important indicators of mental health,it has important significance. Self-harmony has been becoming one of the most focus studies in the psychology.This research discuss the relationship among self-esteem,social anxiety and self-harmony,the purpose is to provide theory basis and practical guidance for the college mental healthy education.815 college students from 5 universities in Hebei Province were tested with the Self-Esteem Scale, Interaction Anxiousness Scale and Self Consistency and Congruence Scale.The data were analyzed by SPSS16.0,the methods included descriptive statistics analysis,one-way MANOVA,general linear model,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The main findings are as follows:1. College students had higher self-esteem level,but the level of social anxiety was relatively serious;the level of self-consistency and congruence in college students was on the medium,most students showed good self-consistency and congruence.2.Multivariate analysis of variance showed that the interaction of gender and major,origin of students and whether only child or not was significant.3.Self-esteem correlated negatively with the general level of self-consistency and congruence,non-consistency and self-rigidness, correlated positively with self-flexibility and correlated negatively with social anxiety;social anxiety correlated positively with the general level of self-consistency and congruence,non-consistency and self-rigidness, negatively with self-rigidness.4.Social anxiety played a part of the mediator role between self-esteem and self-consistency and congruence.Self-esteem had a direct impact on self-consistency and congruence,and had an indirect impact on self-consistency and congruence through social anxiety.
