The Study Of Shuo Yuan' Modification In Literature

Shuo Yuan written by Liu Xiang in the western Han dynasty is a collection of former literatures by compiling. It causes a great deal of modifications from the biographies and Zhuzi' composing of the previous generations. So studying relational modifications deeply is significant and active not only in emendating but also in glossology.The thesis exercises the methods of comparison and tactics to review the Shuo Yuan' changes from it's primary literatures in character, glossary and grammar. The thesis spares no effort to reflect the discrimination between Shuo Yuan and it's primary literatures to show the developmental status of historical language.
