The idea of the Correspondence between Man and Heaven had been in existence in Confucius's words and deeds. In Han dynasty, Dong Zhongshu systematized and theorized the idea. After some scholars' perfecting, the systematization of the idea was completed. Later, people gradually formed the modeof thinking, which created a correspondence between the nature phenomena-calamities and abnormal phenomena and Man. In Ming dynasty, the theory of the Correspondence between Man and Heaven was deep-rooted in the rulers' brains, as was reflected in the ruler during the early Ming dynasty thoroughly. Thus, a special phenomenon came into being, which was that calamities and abnormal phenomena were turned into political resource. What this study will research is the special function of the calamities and abnormal phenomena in the political situation of the Wanli era, the turning point of Ming dynasty from following points: New Deal of the Wanli era, the cultivating of king's moral, the problem about eunuch's engaging in revenuers, the crown prince, conflicting among the ministers.
