Jiangxi Rural Public Health Enterprise In Modernized Advancement During Republic Of China(1928-1941)

Because of protracted war, serious natural disasters and other factors, Jiangxi rural economy arrived the edge of collapse when Republic of China had just established. For reviving the rural economy, consolidating its basic,unit rule, then eliminating the communist party's influence, Nanjing government started to pay attention to the each enterprises of countryside after its establishment. Thus, Jiangxi rural public health enterprise moved its first step for modernization. Alter Jiangxi Provincial Department of Public Health was established in June, 1934, the Jiangxi rural public health enterprise obtained the rapid development, the level of which also was the front row in the domestic. In the medical relief, the management of infectious disease, environmental sanitation, mother and child's health aspects and so on, medicine management, school health and health education had obtained the unprecedented achievement, which should be worth affirmation. However, with the influence of social environment and all kind of factors at that time, the rural public health enterprise couldn't obtaine the further development. Today, as an important constituent of the rural work, the rural health should go out of the difficult position. Fund, specialized technical talented persons and advanced management system are the important guarantee.
