Research On Public Health Education In Tianjin In The Republic Of China(1928-1949)

Public health is a symbol of urban civilization and modernization.It is about the development of the whole city and the health and happiness of the people.In the period of the Republic of China,Tianjin had a prominent geographical position and rapid economic development.However,the public health situation was worrying.In order to improve the public health environment.After the establishment of the Tianjin special city,the Health Bureau was created,and the public health affairs in Tianjin began to be managed and a series of public health education activities were promoted.By studying the origin of public health publicity and education in Tianjin from 1928 to 1949,the evolution of public health publicity and education institutions,public health education with health as the concept,and diversified public health publicity,this article aims to systematically comb out the beginning,development,and improvement of public health publicity and education in Tianjin during this period.context,It can provide reference experience for modern public health publicity and education.Among them,public health education activities are elaborated from three aspects:social health education,school health education,and maternal and infant health education.Analyze diverse public health publicity in terms of health regulations,health speeches and competitions,health exhibitions,and publicity drawings and print publications to stimulate public health awareness and help them establish correct health concepts.Though,the period of the public health propaganda education suffer from funds and reduce the war,there are some limitations,but still in the trial and error gradually clear health administrative range,in the accumulation of experience and lessons last public health propaganda and education to the public,to improve the public health consciousness of the citizens.
