"Revolution in the circles of poetry", which convulsed the wholly literally worldbetween the end of 19 century and the beginning of 20 century, is a poetics slogan of lateQing dynasty. Estimation on him , however, is not in the accord with the realities in more thanhalf century. The letterpress, cutting in with the content of revolution in the circles ofpoetry ,tries hard to correct errors on "revolution in the circles of novelists" made by theliterary history of China and Reverts its essential meaning by analyzing new artisticconception, new sentence, old style and feeling. At the same time, epoch significance of"Revolution in the circles of poetry" in literary history is exhumed, and the stand of LiangQichao in modern transition of Chinese literary is found. Mainly content as following: 1.The background of"Revolution in the circles of poetry".The text discusses thebackground and intention of it from the three following aspects: the current situation and hero,personality and "Revolution in the circles of poetry",culture and"Revolution in the circlesof poetry". 2.The connotation and evolvement of"Revolution in the circles of poetry".The texts,which proceeds with new artistic conception, new sentence, old style, discusses how LiangQichao completed the change from east-west combination of "Revolution in the circles ofpoetry", the renovation of"Revolution in the circles of poetry" to the aesthetics of"Revolution in the circles of poetry". That is the progress from practice to aesthetics. Alsobi-inclination of language and moderation of Liang Qichao is revealed. 3.The relationship among"Revolution in the circles of poetry", revolution in the literary "circles","revolution in the circles of novelists". The text discusses the reason why literaturerevolutionary was the beginning with"Revolution in the circles of poetry" and the revolutionin the circles of novelists was advocated. Meanwhile the close relationship among threerevolutions is also discussed here. 4.The historical value and localization of"Revolution in the circles of poetry". The textdiscusses how "Revolution in the circles of poetry" closely combined new literature withthe old literature at the stage of modern change of Chinese literature. At the same time, owingto the limitation of time and himself, "Revolution in the circles of poetry" unavoidablybrought its historical limitation.
