Liang Qichao is a man of the modern time in China . He is one of the most active illuminative ideologists and political critics on the history stage of China at the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th century . His thought has a far reaching influence to the modern time of China . So far academia has made deep researches about Liang Qichao himself and any kinds of his ideas .As one of the modern intellectuals group , Liang Qichao's life and the achievement relate his article that was called very precious and fetching . People called him"The man of letters"and"Great propagandism", to be known at home and abroad and opened up his political career . The"Literary Revolution"advocated by him in the late Qing Dynasty was not merely a literary change ,but a complicated historical background and origins when the world should be , enlightening people , hope that as a tool to achieve their own political change ideal .This paper has been intercepted in 1898 Liang Qichao's life before and after the experience of 1898 , time off limits for 1894-1902 probably . In study of the"Poems","Essays","Novels""Literary Revolution"advocated by him . Analyze the advocacy of revolutionary Liang Qichao origin background , ideological development process , his practice , the results achieve and the fault defects . As a history thesis , the focus of the this paper is not the revolution in the history of literature or the status of the individual works of Liang Qichao on the language method and artistic value , but rather on his current status in the"Literary Revolution": a political activist and a enlightenment propagandism . Explore how special he is the historical background to understand the superstructure in the form of liter at the force of public opinion and propaganda , which seeks to be adapted to the requirements of the times , the enlightenment people , and ultimately bringing about political change . Further analysis of this revolution in the three areas in the historical role played by the times and because of political constraints and utilitarian , the shortcomings caused by the fault .There are five parts in my paper .Chapter 1 : the internal and external environment at that time , of Liang Qichao's"Literary Revolution"and the historical background . It divided into three parts . The first : The failure of the Reform Movement of 1898 to stimulate reflection and the lessons learned , to his people and enlightenment of public opinion and propaganda work . The second : the impact of the western theory of evolution . Liang Qichao found the charge is the power of human civilization . The third : Modern Japanese Literature especially after the MeiJi Restoration of political fiction impact . And some modern literator such as Defu's concept also impact him .Chapter 2 :"The Poetry Revolution". It divided into three parts . The first :The development of Liang Qichao's"Poetry Revolution"idea . From"New Boundary , New vocabulary , Old manner"to"Old manner contain New vocabulary". The second : The charge of the poetry's space ,vocabulary and thread about Liang Qichao . The third : The patriotism and fighting will of Liang Qichao's personal creation and the impact of them .Chapter 3 :"The Essay Revolution". It divided into four parts . The first : The development of Liang Qichao's"Essay Revolution"idea and the creation of the"New Style". He wanted people to compose the"Enlighten Essay"to express idea and enlighten people . The second : the charge of Liang Qichao's new political essay's vocabulary , merge Chinese and western word and very simple . The third : The vivid politics and impact of Liang Qichao's new political essay . The forth : The appeal of Liang Qichao's new political essay and its impact in modern Chinese social , enlighten people , charge the essay manner and open his own political career .Chapter 4 :"The Novel Revolution". It divided into three parts . The first : The development of Liang Qichao's"Novel Revolution"idea and theoretical development process . From the Reform Movement of 1898 to exile Japan , he found the impact of novel that is a simple literature , called it"the soul of people"and improve its appointment than any other literature style . The second : Liang Qichao's change and achievement of the novel theory . The third : Liang Qichao's own composition and achievement in"The Novel Revolution". His novel 's historical importance and flourish of the late Qing Dynasty's novel boundary .Chapter 5 : The gains and losses of Liang Qichao's"Literary Revolution". It divided into two parts . The first : The historical achievement of Liang Qichao's"Literary Revolution": enlighten people ; promote the development of the modern translation and newspapers ; opening a new generation of literature . The second : the losses of Liang Qichao's"Literary Revolution": Literature and political status of priorities ; traditional culture and western culture contradictions and Liang Qichao is a traditional intelligentsia , there were some paradox in the"Literary Revolution"; too much emphasis on the political and neglect its artistic value that cause some blight .In the end : the conclusion .
