Since the western positive psychology has been developed, the research on Subjective Well-Being becomes the focus of scholars. Subjective Well-Being is an important comprehensive psychological index to measure the mass of people's life satisfaction. This research investigates the 1710 middle school students of Gansu Han, Ningxia Hui and Qinghai Tibetan. On the basis of verifying the former measuring scale, interview and questionnaire survey, the Scale of Chinese Middle School Students' Life Satisfaction is constructed. Making use of this scale and the Happiness Scale by Diener(2000), this research explores the characteristics of middle school students' Subjective Well-Being and its special dimension-Belief satisfaction by the method of cross-culture. We have concluded that:The first, the cognitive component of Subjective Well-Being, namely life satisfaction degree, is constituted by 7 dimensions. They are respectively: Family satisfaction, Friend satisfaction, Belief satisfaction, School satisfaction, Achievement satisfaction, Freedom satisfaction and Environment Satisfaction. This 7-factor model is more reasonable. The result of factor analysis indicates that the Scale of Chinese Middle School Students' Life Satisfaction has good reliability and validity. The second, from the research of the life satisfaction degree, we have found: On the nationality factor, each two nationalities has significant difference. The evaluation of Tibetan is the highest, next is Hui, and Han is the lowest; On the gender factor, each two nationalities makes no difference; On the developmental trend research of the grade factor, Hui is lower than Tibetan but higher than Han. However, the developmental trend of Hui and Han are more balanced than Tibetan. The third, from the research of the positive and negative sensibility: On the nationality factor, each two nationalities has significant difference on negative sensibility; There have both significant differences between Tibetan and Hui and between Tibetan and Han on positive sensibility; On the gender factor, Hui shows the significant difference on negative sensibility; Tibetan shows the significant differences both on positive and negative sensibility; On the developmental trend research of the grade factor, Tibetan is significantly higher than Hui and Han on positive sensibility. Hui is lower than Tibetan but higher than Han on negativesensibility. However, they have the similar developmental trend. The fourth, from the research of the Belief satisfaction, we have found newly: As a whole, Tibetan is higher than Hui, but they have the similar developmental trend. This trend shows that there is a peak of Belief satisfaction at the third grade of junior middle school. On the contrast, Han is significantly lower than Tibetan and Hui. Moreover, Han's trend is more balanced and it almost has no change.
