The Study In Chen Die-xian

Chen Die-xian is a famous author from late Qing Dynasty to MinGuo. He both is a well-known editor. He is not only good at literature, but also masters great scientific knowledge. He invented the dentifrice called WuDi and founded the Family Industry Manufactory in 1918 .Since then he chooses his way as a industrialist. The theme of this thesis is Study in Chen Die-xian and mainly discusses the inditing experience and editing activities of Chen Die-xian .The prolegomenon introduces the meaning, the traits of this thesis and the research actuality. Then the first chapter is background study. This chapter is to sketch the contours of environment that Chen Die-xian and his newspapers and periodicals lived in. Observe the influence that social environment impact on him. The focal point of this chapter is to sketch the experience of all his life and discuss his characters and thoughts. This chapter is the base and reason of the second and the third chapter.The second chapter is the study in Chen Die-xian 's writing. It is the point of the thesis. This thesis divides the writing of Chen Die-xian into four parts as novel, poem, amusing essay and works about living guide. The novel is the main point ^specially the love story. This part is to discuss the style , the language and the structure of Chen Die-xian 's novel.The third chapter is the study in Chen Die-xian 's editing activities. The chapter arranges the materials of the seven newspapers and periodicals that Chen Die-xian had edited separately and successively. It will discuss the editing style and thought of Chen Die-xian. Chapter three is the other point of this thesis. The last part is the conclusion of the thesis.
