With the development of network, internet addiction (abbreviated as IA) invades the campus day by day as a kind of phenomenon, and such questions as the study, life and health of university students ,etc. have brought very great negative effect. So, understand university student IA states, and carry on the discussion to its influence factor, offering basis for taking the effective intervening measure has important realistic meanings. Analyzing the domestic study on IA, the research of all parts relies mainly on the fact that the survey or the theory is analyzed mainly, and research contents mostly concentrate on the analysis on characteristic and danger of IA, there is less positive research to IA influence factor. Self-identity question is a key subject of adolescence' psychological social development, the key period or " critical days " that university students is in identity formation, the impact on IA has important theory meanings to study the self- identity (the central self- regulation and control system in this personality). Considering the close relation of between excessive use of network and time management, this research chooses another influence factor as IA of Time Management Disposition (links one degree of personality characteristics had this time), probe into its impact on IA.This research adopts the questionnaire to carry on research mainly, it is 519 university students coming from 5 universities in Xi'an to try。 Questionnaire adopts the Diagnostic Scale for Pathological Internet Use made by Kimbly.S.Young from University of Pittsburgh, the Identity Status Inventory made by Japanese psychologist Jia Tenghou, the Measuring Scale for Young's Identity Crisis made by Taiwan scholar Jiang Nanfa, and the Time Management Disposition Inventory (abbreviated as TMD) made by Chinese psychologist Huang Xiting. This research has investigated the problem of several respects mainly: First, university student IA's state. Second, relation analysis of Self-identity and IA. Third, relation analysis of TMD and IA. Fourth, TMD investigate influence power and prediction result to the latter of the former two to the relation with IA. The result of study shows:1. In this investigation, confirm IA number 75 people, which accounts for 14.5% of the total number, and their age is among 18- 25 years old. This rate is basically accordant with recent investigation rate(8%~14%) about the incidence of IA.IA demonstrates extremely obvious gender differences, by Chi-Square Test, the number of IA of boy students exceeds the girl students remarkably. The frequencies distribution of IA has not remarkable difference on the specialty (Arts and science) and school type (Non-governmental and governmental university). The grade distribution of University student's IA number is demonstrated very remarkable difference, and it is unbalanced in distribution. According to incidence of every grade IA, one grade and three grades is peak period in IA, second grade and four grades is fall one after rise.2. University students are in "present self-commitment"(yardstick Ⅰ) of self-identity, "crisis in the past"(yardstick Ⅱ), and "the willingness of future self -commitment "(yardstickⅢ) three yardstick demonstrate the remarkable profess ional difference, the score of the student majored in literal arts is higher than the student majored in science notably. The gender differences of three yardsticks are not remarkable. The distribution of university student's each self-identity status is very unbalanced, its difference has reached the significance level; In identity status's grade distribute, there is remarkable grade difference on A status (Identity Achiever) only, and there is not the remarkable difference in other identity status. In the self-identity development of non-governmental university compares with ordinary university student, the two demonstrate the obvious difference on self-identity's three yardsticks, the former scores and is higher than the latter remarkably. The two demonstrate the obvious difference too on the distribution of identity status.3. In the score of Three-dimension of TMD (The sense of time value, the sense of time control, the sense of time efficacy) and total score, it does not demonstrate any gender differences. On the aspect of school grade (divided into excellently, well), the students that chosen as "excellent" by oneself at study, whose scores in the sense of time control, in the sense of time efficacy and total TMD are higher than that chosen as "good" by oneself at study. The two have not remarkable difference on this dimension of "the sense of time value". On the aspect of specialty, TMD of university students of arts and science demonstrates the obvious difference on three-dimension and total...
