The Research On The Relationship Of Personality Traits And English Study

The influence of personality traits on second language or foreign language study is attached more and more importance to and much research work is done by the experts and scholars abroad. These years the research work in this side has been taken up by the experts and scholars of English language teaching in our country.Aim: (1)find out the personality traits which influence the results of English study; (2)find out the personality traits which influence the partiality and the difficulty for English study.Object: 315 university students of non-English majors including 123 males and 192 females, 21.04of the average age.Methods: (1) personality traits measurement; (2) English study questionnaire; (3) statistic analysis of the personality traits and English study.
