Pareidolia,it is when the outside information stimulation is obscure or ambiguous,by imagining to change or add details for the things that people are perceiving,then resulting the phenomenon of ill-natured perception.In other words,it is that the brain gives an actual meaning to an pointless external stimulus,such as a picture or a sound,but it doesn't actually exist.For example,you can see the shapes of animals in the clouds and the stone of animals and the springs of the eyes and so on.What's more,when we are playing music,the hidden information that can be heard when the tape is inverted or quickly released,it is also a pareidolia.The study of this paper put emphasis on the individual distinction of pareidolia from the perspective of personality traits.The first experiment mainly research the correlation between the pareidolia and the Big Five Personality Traits.The second experiment was based on the first experiment,and for the study of the relationship of neurotic personality traits and emotion and gender.The second experiment is designed and implemented according to the principle and method of Binomial Distribution.The researches show that:(1)There is a significant correlation between pareidolia and neurotic personality.(2)The interaction between neurotic personality and emotion is significant,and the simple effects of both are also significant.Two kinds of stimulus materials are in our experiment,one is the natural scene,another is the picture of noise.The images of the first test are all from the Internet.The images of noise are made using cartographic software,and some in them are designed according to the picture from internet.To get various emotions,this paper selects the method of music induced.Among them,the song that stimulates negative emotion is "cabbage",the song that stimulates positive emotion is "Xi Yangyang".Both songs are pure music,so there is no effect of lyrics content.There is a close relationship between pareidolia and the diseases of Louis and Alzheimer's disease and Lewy body disease.There is a great pathologic significance for the study of pareidolia.And previous studies have focused more on the study of the unwell population.But if you can start with healthy people and find some clues,It may be more helpful for the pathology study and the prevention of disease.This essay is designed for the goal.For those people who have a serious pareidolia in this experiment,continuing the study with the method of follow-up investigation.The aim was to study whether they could be Alzheimer's disease and Lewy body disease or other diseases with hallucinogenic,and it could also be compared with a cross-sectional study.
