The Pengshan language is one of the Sichuan languages. When we compare the dialect in Pengshan with another dialect in Sichuan, we can find almost all similarities between those as a whole. While, when we compare it with the Chinese standard language, there are large differences between those. In terms of the sound of the word, we can also find the similar characteristic to the foregoing. In the main text, the system of the sound of the word is described and analyzed, which can be divided into two (2) parts, i.e., the detailed diachronic and the synchronic description. The main text is divided into all four (4) parts. The first part is the abstract. And, in the second part, the variation of the accent in the Pengshan language including accents of consonant and vowel is described based upon the sound of the word in the Pengshan language and the synchronic description, in which 'Erhua' is also analyzed.
