Zhangye Dialect Voice

Zhangye county located in the middle of hexi corridor.It boards Wuwei and Jinchang county in the east, links with Jiuquan and Jiayuguan aera in the west, south adjoin continually with Qinghai Province, north borders with the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The Zhangye dialect belongs to lanyin Mandarin of Zhongyuan Mandarin. On the basis of comparatively detailed and scientific investigation, this thesis use the method of diachronic evelopment and synchronic comparision to deseribe the phonological system of Zhangye dialect with the overall narration to focus on, and through the comparation between Zhangye dialect and its surrounding dialect in Zhixi and Jianxi close mouth words'pronounciation to inference the development of Zhixi and Jianxi close mouth words in Zhangye dialect.The full thesis divides into five parts:The first part is introduction,which introduced Zhangye's geography, administration, population and the evolution of establish, the research situation of Zhangye dialect,the significance for researching Zhangye dialect and introduction of methods and the theoretic about it.In part two,the phonetic system is dealt with,which discusses the vocality,rhythem and tone of the dilect in detail.The major concern is to illustrate the tone sandhi and the light tone.Part three studies the homophones of the Zhangye dialect.Part four makes a comparation between dialect pronunciations and mid-aneient Chinese by comparing the dialectical system of zhangye County and the phonetic system in Guang Yun, looking out the congruent relationship and exploring the principle of the evolutionary process of Zhangye dialect.The fifth part through the comparation between zhangye dialect and its surrounding dialect in Zhixi and Jianxi close mouth words'pronounciation to inference the development stage of Zhixi and Jianxi close mouth words in Zhangye dialect.
