| Shen Congwen's Xiangxi Novel is a very complicated system. There are always many different viewpoints on Xiangxi Novel, among which some are deep insight, some are misreading or misjudging. The paper delimits the world of Xiangxi Novel anew, and elaborates on Xiangxi Novel's multilevel in great detail. The paperconsists of five parts. The first part--preface, brings up some important questionsthat will be discussed in the following parts, and takes an overall view of Xiangxi Novel.
