A Study Of Intergrowth Of Design And Nature In Evolution

Design, acting as a special phenomenon of culture, has a very close relationship to the development of human beings. Whatever being an inner nature of ourselves, or a powerful tool to change the world, the law of evolution of design is so familiar with that of other living beings. So, handling this law well will benefit a lot to the sustainable development of human beings and environment. Methods adopting are as follows:Sample Analyzing: Analyzing a quantity of samples, showing a series of evolution ways.Comparing: Comparing different objects in different fields, periods and locations, finding differences between them.Logic Inference: Basing on sample analyzing, finding inner clues and disciplines in evolution of design.Sample Induction: Gathering all characters together, this will have a whole vision above all kinds of design .Back to Origins: Basing on former methods, backing to original start points of evolution, will restart new clues for concept research.Basing on a large quantity of analyses, I drew some conclusions:1. Getting a clue of how design developed and developing, showing a vision for sustainable design.2. Backing to the start point of design(craft), we find new ways to change old ideas.3. Through comparing traditional crafts and modern design, we will comprehend both items further.4. Constructing a base of materials and theories, helping designers to go further in the future.5. Hope to provide a new vision to understand new thoughts, new cultures and new trends.This paper only opened a sector of the whole disciplines. I will try my best to understand more and deeper of them in designing and teaching practice. This will bring out some useful results to our future life.
