Guang Fu Hui made great contributions to the 1911 Revolution, by firstly playing the same important roles as Xing Zhong Hui and Hua Xing Hui then as Tung Meng Hui. The union members devoted themselves to the revolutionary cause by murdering En Ming, capturing Anqing, attacking Shanghai, recovering Zhejiang and seizuring Jinling. But Guang Fu Hui disappeared after the founding of the Republic of China. The thesis consists of four parts and analyses the union from its development as a bourgeois revolutionist party:The establishment of Guang Fu Hui was not a contingency, but closely related to the political background and Zhejiang's geographic features. The development of modern national capitalism proveded the economic conditions for the union, and the thinking of "Resisting the Qing Dynasty" deeply affected the revolutionists in Zhejiang from the end of the late Ming to Qing Dynasty. Affected by the ideology of the democratic revolution, the capitalist intellectuals inZhejiang awaked themselves rapidly. They were supported by the masses in the bourgeois revolution during the rapid development of union parties. With the above conditions, thus Guang Fu Hui was founded. At the beginning, the bourgeois groups still bore the features as unions. The establishment and development of Guang Fu Hui was always connected with union parties, so union parties greatly affected Guang Fu Hui. After Tung Meng Hui was founded, Guang Fu Hui still existed and gradually developed. But it disintegrated immediately after the founding of the Republic of China. The change in its structure of members, political guiding principles, organizing forms and acting ways were affected by union parties and at the same time affected other bourgeois political groups, so it played important role in the development of the bourgeois party. The union parties mainly formed by the bankrupted peasants played important roles in the secret society in China, and they were widely supported by the masses. After the bourgeois parties came into being, they all established contact with the union parties. But the ways of contacting were different because of the various attitudes by bourgeois groups and distinguished features of the union parties, thus different influences appeared. By comparing the different ways of contacting with the union parties between Guang Fu Hui andother political groups, we can see the change of Guang Fu Hui from a union party to a bourgeois party.Guangfu Hui achieved much in opposing the Qing Dynasty, and devoted itself to promoting the 1911 Revolution and finishing the rule of feudal monarchy. At the beginning of the Republic of China, Tao Chengzhang was murdered. Guang Fu Hui was supplanted because of different reasons, that is, it was not only supplanted by the Tongmeng Union but also it had shortcomings, and soon it disappeared. The collapsing of Guang Fu Hui greatly affected the politics at the beginning of the Republic of China, firstly weaken the revolutionary forces, for example, the base of Tung Meng Hui was greatly weakened, and also affected the party politics and the revolutionary situations in Zhejiang.Fu Qinghai (history^ Supervised by:Guo Taifeng...
