Lots of correlative researches have proved that residual vision of the children with visual impairment can be trained designedly and individually. The results showed that their functional vision which includes basic visual capacities and skills can be improved rapidly after this training. Hence functional vision training has been attached more and more importance in the fields of iatrology ,healing, education and so on. But there still are many shortages and deficiencies in traditional training models, such as ignoring children's characteristic of personalities and psychology, ignoring the difference in and between them, laying particular stress on changing children unilaterally in stead of compensating other aspects simultaneity ,etc. In my opinion, if want to changeover the traditional idea of functional vision training, we must basically grasp the point of children are the principal part in the training. We should start off from the practice such as their personalities, current status , special needs and so forth. Excepting their physiological deficiency, lacking of enough visual stimulations and sufficient motivation of exploring surrounding is the main reason of lower visual function. Ulteriorly it influences children's development of visual capacities and skills. Aiming at this problems and scarcities, this article establishes on visually impaired children's speciality, emphasizes on transiting their attitude with using vision, utilizes their congenital ability of exploring reflection to cultivate the gumption. Meanwhile, it puts emphasis on activating appropriate environment which is adapting both special needs and normalities. In the aspect of training methods, it also pinpoints the importance of children's initiative participating namely how to choose the methods, materials and environment to stimulate them react energetically. In a word, this article try hard to integrate children, environment and the trainers which include professional mentors, teachers and parents, etc.. With this duration of integrative training, most of the children with visual impairment can benefit from it.
