A Probe Into The Searle's Theory Of Intentionality

There is an inherent relation between The searle's theory of Intentionality and the Theory of Marxist Consciousness. The searle's theory of intentionality is full of implication, which is wonderful and profound , unique and novel, his theory is an important position in the philosophy of mind. Although the basic principle on the theory of Marxist consciousness is still very convincing, Maxism must indeed keep abreast with times to interpret deeply consciousness. We can construct the theory of Maxist intentionality in the light of intentionality, especially the searle's theory of intentionality, which is necessary to developing Marxist theory. For this reason, the author tries to discover the basic connotation and essence of searle's theory of intentionality from seven aspects.Part 1: the conceptual apparatus of intentionality. The author mainly discusses the basic term and tool of Searle's theory of intentionality, including intentional content, direction of fix, conditions of satisfaction., intentional causation etc.Part 2: The features, kinds and essence of Intentionality. The author points out the logic properties of the Searle's theory of intentionality in order to recognize the symbol of Intentionality, then concretely explains the relation among the intrinsic intentionality, the derived Intentionality and as-if intentionality, and analyses the relation between Intentionality and language, furthermore, the author analyses the biological meaning of intentionality.Part 3: Meanings in the head.
