| Da Zangjing is a Buddhist ancient codes and records of collection that covers substantial historical material. The thesis attempts to make full use of it to reflect kind of social aspects of Sui and Tang Dynasties.I expect we will acquaintance more knowledge of this period and can offer valuable historical material for scholars.There are four parts in this thesis. The preface mainly introduces predecessors' academy' successes and the weak points. For these problems in this field ,the thesis tries to utilize the relevant of the book Da Zangjing that is placed more emphasis on in order to probe the different aspects of Sui and Tang Dynasties.The first section mainly introduces the basic facts of Sui and Tang Dynasties what the book reflects.In Chinese ancient society, for the key politicians are the Emperor and his around subjects, from the material of historical biography and joined with the history books written in biographical style, the thesis retrieves the content about what happened Buddhist accidents relevant to the Emperor and subjects to inquire into the political situation.The second section makes a research on economy to expose the economical life of Sui and Tang society. Affected by religious doctrine and discipline, there is involved a few economic contents. Under no inference wantonly, we have to introduce simply the economics in this period.The third section is concerned the thoughts and cultures of Sui and Tang Dynasties. The section is made up of three contents :the competition and compromise among Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism ; the human relationship and principle of the feudal society what Buddhism propagates and a kind of Buddhist ceremony-the equal mass rally.The thoughts andd cultures are reflected from contents to forms.The fourth section covers the historical material of the protection of circumstances, which is explaned to the special biological conception that the ancients hard formed at that time. |
