Study From Many Aspects To The Adjective Usage Of "Dui/cuo" In Morden Chinese

"Dui/cuo" in Morden Chinese are a pair of contrary words, and the frequency of them is very high. In the researchable system of the phraseology in Morden Chinese, we have achieved plentiful and substantial fruits about adjective. But there was not any expert of phraseology who has studied the especial couple of antonyms specially and systemically up to now. From the realistic instance, this article studies the adjective usage of "dui/cuo" carefully on the basis of the known knowledge and the literatures of other experts of phraseology in this field. This article outspreads from three aspects. Firstly, we educes the inner relation of the meanings of "dui/cuo" and the difference of their meaning category elementarily. For example, when they both are used as adjective, "dui" has only one meaning, but "cuo" has two. This fact provides the foundation for our further analysis to the difference of "dui/cuo". Successionally, starting with the investigation of the functions and characteristics of "dui" and "cuo" in sentences, we analyses the differences and samenesses between "dui/cuo" and most of other monosyllabic qualitative adjectives.
