The issue of human nature was a controvertible question of Chinese philosophy in the long time. Zhangzai proposed his theory of human nature by summarizing critically to the past theories. In the course of establishing a new system of human nature, Zhangzai looked for the theoretical origin of solving the problem about good and evil from the TianDao theory which is about the universe forming, the universe on base of nature, the theory of humanity-body, the theory of heart-body, besides he adopted theories of human nature in the past.According to the logic from tian to man Zhangzai established his theory of human nature. The conception of regular nature that "the universe on base of nature" was a theoretical basis of Zhangzai's theory of human nature. He regarded the noumenon "the universe" of exceeding image as the source of born nature of "the most kindness" . In this way, he gave prominence to the noumenal states of the universe. Certainly, temperament which stemed from the universe theory of gasification forms was an important category in the theory of human nature of Zhangzai. Temperament was the foundation that mainly explained why individual people's quality was not same. Born nature mainly proved the mankind had common potential kind natural instincts. The most difference between them was that temperament was the mixture of good and evil and bora nature was absolute good. The human nature was originally good, but it turned to be evil because of the cover of temperament. In order to resume the congenitally good nature, we must correct our mistakes and toward good through changing temperament and make temperament which contains good and evil return to born nature which is absolutely good, thus reach the realm of being man and being sage.
