The Innovations Of Hinduism And India Political Modernization

Based on a multitude of scriptures and data collected extensively,this paper takes the innovations of Hinduism during the 19th century to the early of 20th century as a start point, analyses its reasons and introduces its content.Meanwhile,the paper takes the backdrop and process of Indian political modernization into consideration,and combines the innovations of Hinduism and Indian political modernization,and then deals with theirs interactive relation.Except for the preface and the conclusion,the main part of this paper is divided into three chapters.thay mainly analyses and discusses the interrelation of the innovation of Hinduism and the process of Indian political modernization from three aspects rpolitical democracy,political secularization,and national country recognization. The first chapter mainly states on Political democracy.It discusses the innovations of Hinduism promoted the propagation of democracy thought, impelled the process of the Constitute system reform and stimulated the people's political participation.The second chapter mainly discusses Political secularization.It explains the innovations of Hinduism promoted the establishment of the secular political authority, impelled the process of the secularization of law.The third chapter mainly debates National country recognization.It analyzes the innovations of Hinduism promoted the the solidarity of Hindu sects,the collapse of political centrifugal force of caste system and the development of nationalism.The paper finally draws a relatively objective conclusion:the innovation movement of Hinduism and nationalist movement and the British colonial rule mutually affect and interwave,and they together push the process of Indian political modernization.Meanwhile,this paper also analyses and interprets that the innovation of Hinduism had brought about the negative influence to the process of Indian political modernization.
